A really cool alternative to cakes. Love the jasmine coconut and seasame coconut. Not really a fan of the durian seasonal

~ Worth the $$$ ~ I got the strawberry mochi and red bean it was soooo good!! It was our first time and the girl working there was giving us recommendations. There is some seating inside to chat. Parking can be a little difficult but there are more parking spots in the back.

We got the pureed mango with coconut and it was delicious. Well definitely get it again. It's sweet but not overmuch. It reminds me a little bit of taho consistency but made with coconut instead of soy. The last who served us greeted us right away and was helpful in helping explain the difference between the different mango products. She said the pureed one is sweeter but also has larger pieces of mango with it. Great recommendation. Have to try their different flavors next time. Maybe the durian haha (that one is specifically to-go only)

I did not think I'd like this place as much as I did! I normally don't like things too sweet, but Melo Melo's desserts are actually not TOO sweet! I'm a huge fan of coconut so I loved the coconut with mango. I'd order it again. The parking in the plaza was a bit tough, but there was no wait in the store. The shop had a few tables and seats making it a more intimate dessert run if you're going with a date! Come check out this popular dessert spot!

Credit Cards & Apple/Google Pay Only! I got the Oreo Matcha and the Coconut Double. While both are delicious, I prefer the Oreo Matcha a bit more. It's great when you want something more than just the flavor of coconut pudding. The service was good and fast, and the worker was friendly, offering some great recommendations. However, the prices are a bit high--the Oreo Matcha was around $12. A more affordable option would be their classics, the Coconut Single and Coconut Double. They also offer a deal where you get 1 free coconut jelly when you return 10 cups. Parking is free in their lot.

This is my all-time favorite dessert place in the SGV. If I could eat a Melo Melo coconut pudding for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I would. My favorites are the fresh mango, taro and black sesame. My partner loves their Oreo and this time around, they had a matcha Oreo which was unique - he loved it! Although it could be a bit pricey, the quality of the fruits and pudding is superior. I also love to keep and recycle the jars for other things at home. Unfortunately, 4 starts this time around because the woman working there was not helpful and a bit standoff-ish. PS - they're opening a location in the bay!!! I'm so so so excited!!

Cute little store in San Gabriel. They have all different kinds of flavors for their signature coconut desserts. They also had a promotion going on where if you buy a giftcard with a certain amount, you get a free dessert. We bought the $25 giftcard and were able to get a free jasmine coconut. We used the giftcard to buy 2 mango purees and 1 mango coconut which were all so delicious! The price is a little bit on the higher side (we paid $9.99 each) but definitely a yummy treat if you're craving something coconutty. I also love that you get to keep the glass jars that the dessert comes in. The workers there were very helpful and friendly and there is a restroom available inside the store.

If you're in SoCal and you love Asian desserts, then what are you doing? Run don't walk to Melo Melo. They have the best coconut pudding you'll find! This is an Asian dessert lover's paradise. The focus is on quality ingredients without overpowering the natural flavors with artificial sweeteners. The fresh coconut pudding is a must try! You want something more creative? They offer various flavor combinations to satisfy everyone's taste. The texture is just perfect and the silky smooth pudding is not too sweet and full of flavor. The toppings like mango, matcha, etc. are also high quality and add to the premium feel. The stores are usually small with a handful of tables but they are always clean and the staff is always super friendly. Overall, if you are craving coconut pudding, you'll be hard pressed to find a better place!

Definitely not a cheap dessert, but very delicious. The service is quick because everything is pre made. Plenty of parking in the lot and we can get this delivered as well. I love this dessert. I appreciate the glass container for health and eco reasons. So that's why I return to get their desserts despite the price. I end up reusing the containers. The desserts are very smooth, with unique flavors, and not too sweet. My favorite is the one with mango and red rice.
